Q: Can Reiki help with anxiety?
A: Reiki helps to bring the body's energy system back to its natural balance. Therefore, many clients experience deep relaxation during Reiki sessions, calming the nervous system and reducing emotional overwhelm. Because of this natural rebalancing, Reiki can also release headaches, stomach aches, and other physical pain.
Q: Is this therapy?
A: Yes and no. My work is coaching and Reiki. Reiki is often referred to as, "Reiki therapy" because it is therapeutic, not because we are licensed therapists. However, Reiki is complimentary to mental health therapy because it helps to reduce stress which may support talk therapy.

Q: Do you work with men as well as women?
A: Yes. Stress, emotional healing, and coaching sessions are open to both women and men.

Q: Can relationship coaching help if we argue frequently?
A: Yes. Coaching can help couples understand each other’s perspectives, and energies, thereby learning healthier ways to communicate. Also, each coaching session with me includes guided meditation with Reiki energy. This naturally calms the nervous system and can reduce arguments.
Q: Do both partners need to participate?
A: Not necessarily. Individual coaching can still create meaningful changes in how someone communicates and shows up in the relationship. But of course, you can have the session together also.
Q: Why do couples start to feel emotionally distant?
A: Stress, busy schedules, change in hormones, life transitions, and unresolved conflict can slowly reduce connection. With awareness and loving, intentional communication, many couples rebuild closeness.
Q: Can relationships recover after trust has been hurt?
A: Often they can. Rebuilding trust takes time, honesty, and caring, supportive communication.
Q: Is relationship coaching the same as therapy?
A: No. Coaching focuses on communication and personal growth. In addition, my coaching here at MyOshun is unique in that it includes guided meditation with Reiki energy in every session for more impactful transformation. However, if a client would benefit from licensed mental health therapy, I recommend that type of support.
Q: Can coaching improve intimacy?
A: Yes. When communication and emotional safety improve, many couples find that emotional and physical intimacy naturally strengthen. Plus, my all of my coaching sessions include guided meditation with Reiki energy. This is excellent for improving intimacy between partners.
